Snow 2011 (January 10, 2011)

We got about 5 1/2 inches of snow last night so we are house bound today, and it look like it may be for a few days depending on what the weather does over the  next few days.  We let the dogs out this morning to go potty all we could see were two little heads bobbing in a seas of white.  Once Joseph was up, we dressed him and took him out to play in the snow.

We almost lost the dogs in the snow.

Can you find the Maltese (Bailey)?

We have a Crawler

Joseph started crawling backwards before Christmas but he began really crawling on January 5, 2011.  He is now into everything and is moving at the pace of the road runner. I really feel bad for our little dogs.

Snow 2010

On Christmas Day, it snowed in Atlanta.  When we finally got home from braving the snowy and icey roads in Alabama and Georgia, we let Joseph play in snow.

Christmas in Greenville

I had off the last two weeks of December which I thought would allow me all this time to do Holiday things and hopefully convince Joseph that Santa was not a very scary man so we could get a picture with him.  I did not have luck with that so better luck next year.  We did head to my parent's house for Christmas on December 23rd.  As usual, mom had her holiday party for family and friends, so I was able to catch up a lot people that I have not seen in a long while as well as introduce them to Joseph.  We also went to the Swain Christmas Eve party at HollyKnowe which is always nice and then had our family Christmas Eve dinner at Mom and Dad's house.  On Christmas morning, we went to my sister's house to see what Santa brought to AB and to have breakfast.  That afternoon we had Christmas dinner. Of course on Christmas day in Atlanta, it snowed quite a bit so we had to get up bright and early the next day and fight the ice and snow to get back home.  Here are a few pictures.

Christmas In Atlanta

We had Christmas at our house in Atlanta the weekend before Christmas with Emma Lou and Barry (Mimi & Pops) since we were going to Greenville to my parents on Christmas.  It was a good thing that Mommy and Daddy talked to Santa ahead of time and arranged for him to come early to our house.

Joseph must have been a good boy this year!  Santa was good to him!!

He love his Wagon and Chomp-Chomp from his Mimi and Pops!

He just could not resist his Mimi's Cookies.  Of course we had to to stop him before he really took a bite!!

This is the way to ride.  Come on Mimi, pull me!

I got my Dog and my loot!  Let's head out of here!!!

This Christmas stuff really is tiring!

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving, we to South Mississippi to visit Jason's family.  We got to meet Jason's new little nephew, Martin (born in September) as well as see the little pistol Evie (She just turned 4 in January).  Joseph loved spending time with his cousins as well as his Mimi and Pops.  The weather was really warm the first day so he got to spend time outside exploring.  We really enjoyed seeing all of our family and as always it is never long enough.  We really wish we could see everyone more often and that we lived closer.

Here are a few pictures of our Thanksgiving adventures.
