One Month Birthday (May 29, 2010)

We celebrated Joseph's one month birthday on Saturday!  He changed and grown so much in the last month.  I can hardly believe that a month has already passed.  I wich that i could slowit down and enjoy him even more. 

Jason and I weighed and measured him and he is 8lbs 12 oz and 21.5 inches long.  He has gained 2 pounds  and grown 2 inches since he was born.  I guess I now know why he is eating us out of house and home.

Sorry it has been awhile since I posted. The blog was pulled down by google by mistake, but we are back. I have put several pictures of Joseph to catch up for the last two weeks.

Two Week Check up

We went to the pediatrician today for Joseph's two week appointment.  He had gained 12 oz since his visit last week and grew an inch and a half since birth.  He is now 21 inches long and weighs 7 lbs 2 oz.  We go back in 6 weeks for his 2 month check up and his first shots!

It is hard to believe that my little man is already two weeks old.  He is growing and changing so quickly. I wich that I could slow it down and enjoy it more. 

Mother's Day

I had a great mother's day!  We got up and went to church and then stopped by to see Addison on our way home.  Joseph did great in church.  We spent the rest of the afternoon watching movies as a family.  My wonderful husband and little man cooked me a lobster dinner and we actually ate as a family (little man in the bouncer sitting quietly).  It is obvious that daddy let him know that this was a special day for mommy.

My mother sent a mother's day gift for me and Joseph and his wonderful Aunt Tracy sent him a new pacifer (mommy thanks you).

I am so blessed to be the mother to two wonderful children.  One here on earth with me and one in heaven watching over us every minute of every day.

My First Pediatrican Appointment

Joseph went to the pediatrician to see Dr. Z on May 5, 2010.  She said that he looked healthy and had gained 4 oz since his release from the Hospital on May 2, 2010. She told us keep doing what we were doing and to come back in a week for his two week appointment.   He was pooped out after his appointment.

New Pictures of Joseph

Jason and I are enjoying every minute with Joseph.  He is absolutely amazing and we both Thank God every minute for sending us a littlemiracle.  We have been really lucky so far;  he is breastfeeding well and sleeping for 2.5 - 4 hours at a time.

Joseph's First Bath

Last night, Jason and I bathed Joseph for the fisrt time.  He did not like it one bit, bt was a very happy baby once he was dry and in his jammies.

We are home

Joseph got to come home from the hospital on May 2, 2010.  He wore the outfit that my mom bought for me to wearr home from the hospital had I been a boy! 

Once we got home, he met his two furry brothers, Bear and Bailey and we took our firts family picture.
