Five months and Sitting up

I can hardly believe that my little man is already 5 months old.  It seems like just yesterday Jason and I found out that God had blessed us with another little miracle.  I can honestly tell you that the last year has been full of ups and downs.  We had to go through all the first of dealing with losing a child and also all the joys of preparing for a new child.  I can honestly tell you that having Joseph to look forward to always helped us through the really tough times of grieving the loss of Addison.  I now look and Joseph and see so much of Addison in him.  They share so many features which I am so happy about and I can't wait until he is old enough for me to share with him all about his big sister.

And the BIG NEWS.... Joseph is sitting up all by himself!!!

Also,  Joseph wanted to thank his Nana for his Jumparoo Activity Center.

Update & Pictures

I can hardly believe that my baby boy is almost 5 months old.  I guess time flys when you are having fun!!  He is growing and changing daily.  He is rolling over (when he feels it necessary), sitting up (almost by himself), and standing up (as much as we will steady him).  He has wants so much to be a big boy and walk around.  He is so curious and learning new things by the minute.  The only constants are our Aiden and Anais blankets and Mr. BlahBlah.

Here are few pictures that I have taken of him over the last few weeks.

Taking a nap in the Nap Nanny with Mamma Bee and of course his blankie.

Helping Mommy work (ie watching Baby Einstein)

He was scared we were going to take the book away

Tummy time

He will be crawling in no time!!!

Lions and Tigers and Bears OH MY!!

Joseph went to the Zoo for the first time today!!!  He got on his tennis shoes and hat and was ready for a fun filled day at the Atlanta Zoo hanging with the Pandas, Monkeys and Gorillas.

While Ms. Brittani and I were at the Zoo, we saw all kinds of fun animals.  There are a few of the ones we saw below.

Here is a picture of Ms Brittani and Joseph with the Gorilla!!

The day at the zoo really wore Joseph out but He just want you to know that the Atlanta Zoo is number 1!!!!

First Foods

At the doctor's appointment on September 1st, we were told that Joseph was ready to start solid foods, so we started Joseph on solids on September 4th.
